Overall, 2014 was a good year for Tara as she continues to progress in her fight against Glioblastoma (brain cancer). She had her latest MRI in early December and the results were clear!
Tara is now in cycle #27 of her clinical trial at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston and is continuing to tolerate the medication well. The absence of some medications, which are no longer necessary, is enabling Tara to have more energy. This summer, Tara began volunteering a few hours a week at Boston’s Ronald McDonald House. This past July also marked an important personal milestone – her 30th birthday!
While this year has presented some bumps along the road, Tara continues to persevere with a positive attitude and an incredible spirit.
She’s without question one of the toughest (and sweetest) people we’ve ever met.
