Hope Strengthens Foundation is thrilled to announce the recent delivery of our latest contribution to support a patient fund at Martin-O’Neil Cancer Center (MOCC), a state-of-the-art facility featuring a team of experts who deliver caring, whole-person cancer care under one roof. From diagnosis and initial treatment planning through surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, patients can receive the advanced care they need. The staff and support specialists work as an integrated team with patients through every phase of their fight against cancer.
The patient fund is accessed by the Care Management Team at MOCC to support validated patient care needs. Examples include transportation for cancer treatment, scalp cooling, post-treatment wellness program fees, sleeves and gauntlets for lymphedema treatment and other medical and care needs that directly support patients who are dealing with health and financial challenges.
