Ariana Klein recently took a leap of faith. She moved from her hometown in Massachusetts to Philadelphia, PA to pursue her dream career with the District Attorney’s Office. While living alone in a new city was a daunting challenge, she was ready to build the life she had always imagined.
A SUDDEN TURN
Just two months after her move, Ariana’s life took an unexpected turn: she was diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer. She was invited to participate in a clinical trial for a new drug—an alternative to traditional chemotherapy. The results were incredible, and her body responded well to the treatment. This medical breakthrough allowed her to keep working and maintain her independence in her new hometown.
THE PATH TO RECOVERY
While the hardest part of the fight is behind her, the road to healing often presents new hurdles. Following a lumpectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and radiation therapy, Ariana began experiencing chronic stiffness, pain, and lymphedema.
