Members of our team recently visited our partners at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Pediatric Resource Program to deliver our latest contribution. This vital partnership offers concrete support to families with children undergoing cancer treatment, helping with critical needs like transportation, food, and housing. This allows parents to focus on what matters most: their child’s health.
Our support helps patients like Nadia (name changed for privacy). She has been battling multiple recurrent pineoblastoma, a malignant brain tumor. To participate in a clinical trial, Nadia and her single mother, Arlene, had to travel to Georgia. The out-of-pocket expenses were significant, and our partnership helped ease some of these financial challenges, allowing Arlene to prioritize Nadia’s care.
This latest contribution to our partnership was made in loving memory of Billy Fournier, a courageous young boy we were privileged to assist during his fight with a rare liver cancer. Billy was a patient at the Jimmy Fund Clinic at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
