Earlier this week, when doctors completed a surgery to correct Ronnie’s shunt, they discovered what appears to be a staff infection. As a result, they had to remove the manufactured bone flap and shunt that was previously attached to Ronnie’s skull. Fortunately, the infection was caught early and had not spread.
