Hope Strengthens Foundation’s longtime friend and supporter, Steve McCormack has been tackling GORUCK Challenges in his spare time. A GORUCK Challenge is an event that presents significant physical and mental challenges requiring high-levels of teamwork and strategy to complete. A typical team challenge lasts 8-10 hours and covers 15-20 miles.
In association with his participation in GORUCK Challenges, Steve designed custom patches and he sold them to other members of the GORUCK community. He decided to donate the net proceeds from the sales to HSF.
The patches sold out quickly and Steve was able to donate $500 to HSF! Steve’s generous contribution has already made a tremendous impact on the individuals and families who we are privileged to assist.
