On Saturday, September 12, community members gathered at the Tisbury Spring Building in Vineyard Haven, MA for the 3rd Annual Hope Strengthens Foundation Roast & Raise. The event raised support for individuals and families facing life-threatening illness, disability or recovering from traumatic injury.
We’d like to express our sincerest gratitude to family, friends, and local businesses for donating time and resources to the cause. These selfless contributions help bring hope and strength to our fellow community members in need.
As a result of this year’s event, Hope Strengthens Foundation was privileged to make a contribution to Martha’s Vineyard Community Services – Disability Services Program. These resources will be used to establish a fund to accommodate targeted, unmet needs for their beneficiaries. For example, funds will go towards covering medical bills, equipment, special classes, transportation needs, etc. that beneficiaries’ insurance or current resources may not fully cover.
As a direct result of the resources raised at the event, HSF made contributions to other organizations who share our mission, including MV Cancer Support Group and Firefighters for Healing. Additional contributions will go to the individuals and families Hope Strengthens Foundation is privileged to support.
